Carles Doménech is a physician specialising in neurology, and a biologist with ongoing PhD studies on the bio sanitary branch. He has over 10 years of experience treating patients with neurological disorders in several Spanish hospitals.

He combines this work with more than five years in biological research, as a PhD candidate, involving animal and plant taxonomy, genetics, and bioinformatics. His interest in venomous substances and altered states of consciousness induced by cannabis and other plants started in his earlier adolescence.

Currently, he continues to work as a neurologist in Valencia hospitals and develop his career as a researcher at the University of Alicante. Also, he maintains a continual interest in optimising the obtention of cannabis and other plants with potential therapeutic use.
