Hemp Shoes: Vegan, Ethical, and Sustainable

Our hemp shoes fuse an ancient manufacturing crop with modern aesthetics and function. Traditionally, hemp clothes have always had a rather rustic and ragged look to them—not any more. These sustainable cannabis-based kicks are partially crafted using durable hemp fibres, but they’re also waterproof, versatile, and boast a sleek modern design. Equipped with our proprietary coating layer, these shoes are protected from liquids, stains, and dust particles. A membrane reinforces this coating, helping to keep water out—no matter what (as long as it stays below the ankle line). They’ll keep your feet dry and your swagger high, while remaining PFC-free.

Aside from the novelty of hemp, our hemp shoes are ethical; they’re 100% vegan and highly sustainable. Whereas the manufacturing process behind a standard pair of running shoes emits around 14kg of CO₂, and a pair of leather shoes 100kg, the process behind our vegan sneakers emits only 4.1kg. Along with a hemp upper, these kicks also feature the world’s first hemp insoles and an algal bottom. We teamed up with Bloom Foam to create a lightweight bottom made by removing polluting algae from marine ecosystems. The custom RQS graphic on the tongue adds the finishing touch.
