My Pink Mist Auto was ready to harvest 73 days after she sprouted and gave me 88 g of dried flowers from a single plant. She spent 3 weeks in veg and 7 weeks flowering, and finished at 83 cm tall.
The whole grow ran without much trouble. She grew in an 11 l fabric pot of BioBizz Light-Mix under a 240 W LED in a small tent, which she shared with two other RQS autos, Granddaddy Purple Auto and Royal Cookies Auto. This report covers only her.
You can follow every week of my grow diary below: what I fed her, how much water she got, how the light was set and how tall she grew.

Pink Mist Auto Grow Report: Seedling Stage (Week 1)

Planting day: I filled the fabric pot with Light-Mix and worked Easy Boost Organic Nutrition, Seaweed and Easy Roots Mycorrhiza Mix into the soil. I soaked it with water containing Cannabis Seed Booster, made a small hole in the middle and planted the seed straight into the soil, with the lights at 40%.
Two days later, the surface had dried out, so I sprinkled a little water on top.
Three days after planting, she sprouted, and both of her tent mates broke the surface the same day.
The next day was photo day. Once the first pictures were taken, I shared 3 l of water with Seed Booster between the three seedlings.
Pink Mist Auto Week-by-Week Grow Guide: Vegetative Stage (Weeks 2–4)
When veg started, I set the timer to 18/6, and it stayed there until harvest. Over the next three weeks she went from a seedling to 33 cm and was already showing the first signs of flowering.

Week 2: 7 cm and Already the Tallest on the Farm
By the first day of veg she had grown 3.5 cm, putting her ahead of both her tent mates. From then on, every watering carried Terra Aquatica CalMag at 1 ml/l and RQS Bio Grow Fertiliser at 1.5 ml/l, with the pH brought down to 6.0.
I only watered twice this week, sharing 4 l between the three plants every 4 to 5 days. The tent held steady at 26 °C and 50% humidity, so nothing needed adjusting. On day 7 of veg she measured 7 cm.
Week 3: 17 cm and New Branches
Ten centimetres of growth in seven days took her to 17 cm on day 14, which made her the best-growing plant on the farm. New branches were developing, and she pushed out lots of new leaves, all of them healthy.
I kept to the same rhythm of watering every 4 to 5 days, but the amount went up to 5 l shared between the three plants, still with CalMag and Bio Grow in the water.
Week 4: Brown Spots and the First Signs of Flowering
Her biggest jump so far came in week 4: she grew 16 cm and measured 33 cm on day 21. The leaves turned much lighter where the first flowers were starting to form, a clear sign she was switching to flowering.
Brown spots also appeared on some leaves, looking almost burnt. I didn't know the cause, so after taking the day 21 photos I cut those leaves off to see what would happen next.
Bigger plants drink more, so I moved to watering every 3 days: about 8 l shared between the three plants, still with CalMag and Bio Grow, at pH 6.0.
Pink Mist Auto Grow Journal: Flowering Stage (Weeks 5–11)
Her seven weeks of flowering brought one big stretch, and her height topped out at 83 cm. The last two weeks were plain water only before she was ready to harvest.

Week 5 (Flowering Week 1): First Flowers and Bloom Feeding
Flowers started forming on the main cola and along the branches this week, so she was properly in bloom. She put on another 12 cm to reach 45 cm, with plenty of new leaves in a healthy green and no sign of any deficiency. The brown spots never came back after I cut those leaves off.
With flowering under way, I swapped Bio Grow for RQS Bio Bloom Fertiliser and kept the CalMag going, still at pH 6.0. I kept watering every 3 days, as in week 4.
Week 6 (Flowering Week 2): The Big Stretch to 72 cm
She shot up 27 cm this week, from 45 cm to 72 cm, a lot more than I would expect from an average week. By the end of it she was by far the tallest plant on the farm.
The branches lengthened and new leaves kept coming through a healthy green, with no sign she was missing anything. The flowers were getting bigger every day. All that growth made her thirstier, so I watered every 2 to 3 days, giving about 2.5 l per plant.
Week 7 (Flowering Week 3): Growth Slows and a Lower Clean-Up
The stretch finally eased off this week. She added a little under 10 cm to reach 80 cm, and given my tent's height, I was glad to see her slowing down. She kept an elongated shape, with the main stem rising above the other branches.
I cleared the leaves and branches at the very bottom of the stem to make watering easier and improve airflow. Her leaves turned a little lighter, something I put down to genetics. The flowers were filling in, though the smell was still weak. I watered every 2 to 3 days, 3 l per plant.

Week 8 (Flowering Week 4): Final Height and the First Aroma
The flowers kept filling in this week, and for the first time they were starting to smell. Growth almost stopped, with only 3 cm added to reach 83 cm, which I took as her final height. Her main cola still rose well above the other branches.
Some lower leaves developed yellow spots that were turning brown, so I removed them. The rest stayed a slightly lighter green but looked great. I kept watering every 2 to 3 days, 3 l per plant.
Week 9 (Flowering Week 5): Trichomes Start to Show
By the end of this week she was starting to look close to maturity. Flowers now covered the ends of her branches and had begun to frost over with trichomes, while the smell had turned strong.
Her leaves were a little pale, which is normal at this stage of flowering. Height held at 83 cm. I kept watering every 2 to 3 days, 3 l per plant.
Week 10 (Flowering Week 6): Plain Water and a Strong Scent
After the photo shoot this week, the whole apartment smelled of her. The flowers had turned hard and packed, and they were full of trichomes.
The leaves went slightly yellowish with curled edges, which is just the plant ripening, so I didn't worry. I also stopped all nutrients at this point, giving her plain water at pH 6.0 for the last two weeks, with no Bio Bloom and no CalMag. Watering slowed to every 3 to 4 days at 3 l per plant, and she held steady at 83 cm.
Week 11 (Flowering Week 7): Harvest Day
By the final week the flowers smelled of berries. They were hard and full of trichomes, and her leaves had turned almost yellow. When I checked the trichomes, they were all milky with some brown among them, so I knew it was time.
Her last two waterings were plain water at pH 6.0, and I gave her a smaller watering the day before the final photo shoot. On harvest day I took those last photos, then harvested her.
Pink Mist Auto Grow Report: Harvest, Drying and Yield
I cut her down branch by branch and dried the branches in a herb dryer. Normally I dry in the tent, but one of her tent mates was still growing in there, so I used the dryer this round.
Once dry, she gave me 88 g of flowers from the one plant, which is more than average on my small farm. That came from 73 days between sprouting and harvest, with 3 weeks of veg, 7 weeks of flowering and a final height of 83 cm.
What went into the jars were compact flowers, covered in trichomes right out to the branch tips.

Royal Queen Seeds bred Pink Mist Auto to put the character of Pink Mist into a fast autoflower. Pink Mist descends from Black Haze and Purple Thai, and the breeders crossed it with Royal Haze Auto, which added earthy, floral flavours along with the autoflowering trait.
The result is a mostly sativa hybrid that still stays compact enough for small grow spaces. That mattered in my case, as my tent is only 178 cm tall.
Growing Characteristics of Pink Mist Auto
I rate Pink Mist Auto 10/10 and would call her easy to grow, as she moved from veg into flower without any real problems. Her biggest growth spurt came early in flowering, including a 27 cm jump in week 6, before she stopped at 83 cm. With her higher sativa share, a little over 80 cm is about what I expected, well inside the product page's range.
One dominant main cola rose above the side branches. My only issue was a few leaves with brown or yellow spots, and removing them was enough.
She finished ahead of RQS's figures too: 73 days from sprouting against 85 to 95 days after germination. Feeding stayed simple, with CalMag plus one base feed at a time.
Effects and Flavour of Pink Mist Auto
Early in flowering there was no smell at all. It was still weak in week 7, grew through week 8 and was strong by week 9, and by harvest it had settled into a clear berry scent. The taste I noted was berry, earthy and herbal, which sits close to RQS's description of rare lavender notes with blueberry and earth.
The effects I noted were euphoric, relaxed and uplifted. That lines up with the strain's official profile: a euphoric high that lifts the mind while relaxing the body.
Final Thoughts on Growing Pink Mist Auto
I'm more than satisfied with this one. Everything went smoothly, and the reward was well worth it. Finishing a grow with jars full of juicy flowers is a great feeling.
Judging by this grow alone, Pink Mist Auto suits someone with a small tent who wants an easy autoflower. If headroom is tight, keep an eye on the stretch in the first weeks of flowering, because that's when she grew fastest.
