I prepared the 11 L (2.9 gal) fabric pot with BioBizz Light-Mix. I filled around half of the pot, added Easy Boost Organic Nutrition pellets and Seaweed, then added more soil and mixed everything together thoroughly. I topped the pot up with the remaining substrate and soaked it with water before planting the seed directly into a small hole in the center. She sprouted four days later.

Royal Creamatic Grow Diaries: Vegetative Stage (Weeks 1–3)

Week 1: A Healthy Start With Compact Growth

I started counting the vegetative stage once she had developed four true leaves. Her early growth was slightly elongated and a few of the leaves looked a little deformed, but I had seen similar development before and did not treat it as a major concern.

The environment held steady. Temperature stayed around 27 °C (81 °F), while humidity remained slightly above 50%.

Water demand was still fairly low, so I watered every two to three days using roughly 1.5–2 L (1.6–2.1 qt) each time and adjusting the pH beforehand. No liquid nutrients went in during this first week, because the substrate already contained Easy Boost and Seaweed.

Seven days in she measured 12 cm (5 in). The foliage stayed healthy overall, and the early leaf deformation never developed into a larger problem.

Week 2: Dense Vegetative Development

Royal Creamatic grew from 12 cm (5 in) to 20 cm (8 in) during week 2. Her internodal spacing stayed short, and with the amount of fresh foliage she was producing she began to take on a compact, bushy shape.

The first pre-flowers appeared along the branches, which told me the transition toward flowering had already begun. Temperature held around 27 °C (81 °F) and relative humidity stayed close to 50%.

Watering moved to every three to four days. During one irrigation I mixed 5 L (1.3 gal) for the grow, added one Easy Grow Booster Tablet and 5 ml (1 tsp) of CalMag, then brought the pH down to 6.0 with Lemon Kick and divided the solution evenly, so she received roughly a third. At the following watering I repeated the routine without the booster tablet.

Week 2 closed with her at 20 cm (8 in) and holding a dense, compact structure.

Week 3: The End of Vegetative Growth

Week 3 took her from 20 cm (8 in) to 36 cm (14 in). She was still compact, but the distance between branches began to open up as she stretched, and pre-flowers became more obvious at the ends of the branches and around the top of the main stem. This was the final full week of vegetative growth.

Watering settled at every three days, and I increased the volume as she got larger. One irrigation was 7 L (1.8 gal) with an Easy Grow Booster Tablet and 7 ml (1.4 tsp) of CalMag, taken to pH 6.1, and I repeated the same mix three days later.

Week 4: The First Full Week of Flowering

Week 4 marked the beginning of the flowering stage, and she stretched hard, gaining roughly 20 cm (8 in) to reach 57 cm (22 in).

Her overall structure stayed well balanced. The main stem was thick and stable, the side branches developed evenly around it, and the internodal spacing opened up enough to improve airflow and let light into the canopy. The fan leaves were broad, well shaped, and deep green, with no obvious signs of nutrient stress.

Flower sites became more defined along the branches and fresh pistils appeared across the plant. I kept watering every three days, and this was the point where I switched from vegetative feeding to a flowering booster: 9 L (2.4 gal) with Bigger Flowers and CalMag, taken to pH 6.0, repeated at the next watering.

Watering continued every three days, at roughly 2.5 L (2.6 qt) per irrigation. I kept using CalMag alongside the Bio Flowering Booster and adjusted the pH to 6.0 before each feed.

At 71 cm (28 in) I was happy with where she had landed. She had stretched enough to create good spacing between bud sites without getting too tall for the tent.

Week 6: Final Height and Increasing Resin Production

Another 2 cm (0.8 in) went on during week 6, bringing her to a final height of 73 cm (29 in). The stretch had effectively finished, and she was now putting her energy into flower development.

Her structure looked especially balanced at this stage. The main cola was clearly pronounced while the side branches developed evenly around it. The buds began stacking more noticeably, and the first visible layer of trichomes appeared across the flowers.

Watering held at every three days. One irrigation was 9 L (2.4 gal) with CalMag and Bio Flowering Booster divided evenly, and I repeated the same schedule three days later. She responded well, with no sign of nutrient burn or deficiency.

She had reached 12 cm (5 in) by the end of the first vegetative week, then 20 cm (8 in) by the end of week 2. Her strongest period of vertical growth came during weeks 3 to 5: 36 cm (14 in) by the end of week 3, 57 cm (22 in) after week 4, and 71 cm (28 in) by the end of week 5. During week 6 she added only another 2 cm (0.8 in) and stopped at a final height of 73 cm (29 in).

The official indoor range for the strain is 60–90 cm (24–35 in), so the Royal Creamatic week-by-week numbers put her squarely inside it. Her structure matched the general profile well too, with the main cola becoming the dominant feature while the side branches stayed manageable and evenly spaced.

Overall she suited the available indoor space. Her compact height, stable structure, and straightforward feeding requirements made her easy to manage from start to finish.

Effects, Aroma, and Flavor of Royal Creamatic

During my grow the flowers developed a distinctly sweet and pungent scent as they matured.
