When does the germination stage end?

A white taproot will appear and become the stem of your cannabis plant, pushing the seed shell upwards while developing roots at the bottom. Right after the shell is gone, a pair of cotyledons will begin absorbing energy from the light above.

After around two weeks, your seedling should have started developing its first sets of true leaves, which typically have 5–7 fingers.

Once these true leaves appear, the plant is no longer considered a seedling and has officially entered the vegetative stage, where it will begin to grow more vigorously.
